“...a second chance at education”

Youthreach is an educational training and work experience programme for young people who have left school early. Its aim is to develop the core skills needed for further learning and to prepare young people to progress to further education, training or to employment.

The Youthreach programme is for young people aged 16-20 years who have left school early and wish to develop skills and expertise to obtain recognised qualifications to pursue career aspirations.

Trainees attending a Youthreach Programme will receive a weekly training allowance, a meal allowance and a travel allowance where applicable.

Support systems are in place, e.g. counseling, mentoring, etc.

What will it cost me?

Courses are free to eligible young people between the ages of 16 and 20.

What does the programme involve?

This a full-time education programme, students attended from 8:40 am to 3:30 pm daily. A variety of education courses are available from carpentry, art, computing, corking as well as education classes in Communications and Mathematics.
